Every patient has a right to privacy
Anyone with a medical record should be able to assume that their data is handled confidentially. Checking this is often still done manually and randomly. That is why we have introduced in cooperation with the Martini Hospital Logspect developed. Logspect performs automated monitoring of EHR log data to ensure the privacy of all patients can be monitored.
Download product sheetHow does it work?
1. Linkage with EPD
We link Logspect to your EHR (e.g. OnsNedap, HiX) and other applications with patient data. The necessary data is copied and anonymized.
2. Configure
We define rules that indicate suspicious activity. For example, consider frequent requests for files from another department.
3. Automated analysis
The data is analyzed. On a dashboard, user gets notifications of the suspicious cases, with the possibility of further investigation into them.
Data analysis according to NEN7510
The NEN7510 standards framework favors automated analysis of patient records. Logspect is the first tool that makes this possible. No more manual sampling, but automated analysis of all log data.

Frequently Asked Questions
What can I use Logspect for?
Logspect can be used for any system that maintains log data from records. Although Logspect was developed to analyze the log files of Electronic Patient Records (EHRs), it can be applied to similar systems.
Does Logspect use personal data?
Logspect uses pseudonymized data. This means that the original personal data has been converted into values without meaning. Only the relationship between the data is preserved. Thus, Logspect does not use original personal data. Because the relationship between data does not change, it is possible for the user to analyze the data using a "blind check. This prevents possible bias. In addition, pseudonymizing the personal data ensures that the data is not copied or stored in a secondary location. This reduces your chances of a data breach.
How does Logspect relate to NEN 7510 and NEN 7513
The NEN 7510 prefers automated logging as is possible with Logspect. The NEN 7513 describes a method for systematically logging data from patient records. The functionalities of Logspect were developed using this method.
